Bay Area Christian School – Elementary Principal

Education: Master’s Degree Required
Overview: God has continued to bless our school with tremendous growth. In response, BACS seeks to be a good steward of this blessing by promoting both quantitative and qualitative expansion. Our elementary is expected to enroll over 500 students for the 2017-18 school year. Therefore, we are seeking a distinctively Christian leader who loves Jesus, children, and Christian education to oversee the elementary division. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Christian school teacher and administrator, will be an effective and energetic communicator, will seek to partner with families in the mode of Deuteronomy six education, and will collaborate well all while respecting and building on our school’s rich heritage of and strong reputation for providing quality Christian education and impacting lives for now and eternity.

Manage the elementary as a vital component of Bay Area Christian School by the following assurances:
1. Ensure the schedule of school is maintained by faculty/staff, parents, and teachers.
2. Daily exercise an awareness for campus safety and professionalism: human interaction, facility safety, and needed improvements.
3. Uphold, troubleshoot, and implement school policies to/with all stakeholders, including academic, conduct, and attendance standards.
4. Collaborate with all stakeholders when necessary to promote the following
i. Strong professional development: teaching strategies, curriculum choices, and school planning
ii. Weekly elementary staff meetings
iii. Conflict resolution and problem prevention/solution
iv. Calendar awareness
